Toms Poišs

Toms Poiš is one of the most active and prominent bass players in Latvia, currently he regularly performs and participates in projects of various genres, including with such artists as Dons, Astro'n'Out, Elza Rozentāle, Daumants Kalniņš, Raimonda Paula. He has also played in City Jazz big band, Latvian Radio big band, Nik Gotham, DJ Monsta, Laima Jansone and Māris Briežkalns. 
He also participated in various shows and TV shows. Since 2016, he has also been working as a bass and ensemble teacher at the Ventspils Music High School. A graduate of JVLMA and RDKS Jazz departments, he also studied at the Estonian Theater and Music Academy under Taavo Remmel.
