Intars Busulis is one of Latvia's most versatile artists - a naturally gifted trombonist and singer. Intars started his career in music at the Talsu Music School, in the children's ensemble "Talsu Sprīdīši", in the trombone class of the Ventspils Music High School and in the Ventspils Big Band. During the Ventspils period, Intars realized that he wanted and could not only play the trombone, but also sing. In 1999, he founded the pop group Caffe together with ambient music composer Raymond Tigula, and in 2003, the jazz group Wet Point was born, in which Intar played trombone and sang.

​2004 In 2008, Intars Busulis won the Grand Prix at Sony Jazz Stage, the first competition for young jazz musicians from the Baltic countries, produced by Māras Briežkalnas; in the same year he also became the Grand Prix winner of the Pärnu Film Festival improvisation competition. A year later, Intars Busulis won the Grand Prix at the young singer competition "Jaunais vilnis" in Jurmala. The singer has performed at the festivals Pori Jazz, Jazzkaar (Tallinn), Kaunas, as part of the Māras Briežkalnas quintet, he performed at the prestigious music industry forum MIDEM 2005 in Cannes.

 Has performed with the Māras Briežkalns quintet at the prestigious Blue Note jazz club in New York, Flagey, Brussels and many other places
