Gints Pabērzs

 Gints Pabērzs is one of the brightest Latvian jazz saxophonists. He received his professional master's degree in music at the Jāzeps Vītolas Academy of Music of Latvia. He improved his saxophone playing skills at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.

The most important projects in artistic activity: concerts with singer Mandy Gaines and master percussionists Terry Lyne Carrington at the Rīga Ritmi Festival; As part of the Māris Briežkalns Quintet, a concert tour in Canada, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece, at the Blue Note jazz club in New York, Pori Jazz, performed at the Sony Jazz Stage, Rīgas Ritmi, Saxophonia, as well as a concert tour with the Riga Saxophone Quartet.
From 2010 to 2012, he was a member of the City Jazz Big Band, and since 2012 he has been a musician of the Latvian Radio Big Band. Received the Grand Music Prize with a jazz quartet, won 1st place at the International Festival Spoža Nots in the jazz category.
